What is Today, Just This?

A daily movement companion for people whose bodies change day to day. You check in with how you feel; it builds one small, gentle session matched to today — and asks for nothing more. No streaks, no programs, no catching up.

Is it free?

Yes. The full movement library, the adaptive daily sessions, every supported condition, and your history are free — no ads, no session caps. A one-time unlock adds creating your own exercises and the full sound library. An optional subscription adds cloud sync, session notes and photos, unlimited custom routines, and gentle pattern insights.

Do I need any equipment?

Nothing special to get started. Most movements use just your body, and the app suggests what fits wherever you are — in bed, in a chair, or on your feet. If something needs a wall or a chair, you can always skip or swap it.

Can I use it with the exercises my physical therapist gave me?

Yes. Build them as a custom routine — your own movements, timings, and reps — and run them with the same calm, one-thing-at-a-time player. Many people keep their prescribed routine alongside the app's adaptive sessions.

What happens on the days I can barely move?

You tell it today is rough, and it asks for less: a shorter, gentler session with nothing to push through. You can stop at any point, and showing up for two minutes still counts — the app will say so.

Why does it never ask me to rate my pain?

Because grading your body every day quietly becomes another job, and the number rarely helps. We ask how today feels in plain words instead. There's a longer answer in our Learn pages.

Can I track my regular fitness routine too?

Yes. The app isn't only for the hard days — you can log your other movement (gym sessions, classes, runs) so your whole movement life lives in one place, without any of it being judged.

Does it work with Apple Health?

Yes. You can bring your workouts in from Apple Health, so walks, swims, rides, and gym sessions sit alongside your daily sessions in one gentle history — with their distance and steps where available.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is stored encrypted, never sold, rented, or traded, and never shared with advertisers, employers, or insurers. Details are in our privacy policy.

Is it a replacement for physical therapy or medical care?

No. Today, Just This is a movement companion, not a medical device — it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. It's designed to sit alongside the care you already have. Always consult your provider before starting any exercise program.

What devices does it run on?

iPhone today (iOS 14 and newer). Android is planned.
